Volkswagen Jetta named to Autotrader's 10 Great Cars for Recent College Graduates list

  • 2016-2018 #jetta models selected by Autotrader for new grads in a list with “a practical focus on value, fuel economy, safety and reliability”

Herndon, VA — Today, #volkswagen is pleased to announce that Autotrader has named the #jetta to its list of 10 Great Cars for Recent College Graduates. The editors recommend the 2016 through 2018 used #jetta models in a list that includes both new and used models.

“Jetta represents a compelling value and a great entry point into our brand,” said #heinschafer, Senior Vice President, Product Marketing and Strategy for #volkswagen of America, Inc. “We’re thrilled for it to be named by Autotrader as a great choice for grads.”

“The #volkswagen #jetta has a strong engine lineup and a pretty spacious cabin and trunk for a compact sedan,” said the editors at Autotrader. “Starting between $8,700-$14,000, the 2016 model year is a good spot to begin your search because that’s when the #jetta got a standard touchscreen infotainment system and USB port plus a new turbocharged base engine.”

All vehicles on this year’s 10 Best Cars for Recent College Graduates list – a mix of new and used cars and SUVs – are available for under $25,000 and achieve a combined fuel economy rating of at least 30 mpg.
