Vectrix a EICMA 2011

2011 has been a significant year in the progression of the story that is VECTRIX™ technology. It is a story about changing the way we move around. Zero gas. Zero gas emissions. And, virtually no sound. It is a clean energy story that has never stood still, never rested on its laurels, and certainly has never stopped moving forward. 2011 marked the 15th anniversary of the founding of VECTRIX™ in 1996. It was also the 10th anniversary of the VECTRIX™ patents we received in 2001 for our rugged integrated rear-wheel mounted single stage planetary gear drive that is at the heart of every VX-1 Li/Li+ and VX-3 Li+ maxi-scooter. And it was the 5th anniversary of the launch of the revolutionary VX-1 in 2006. In 2011, we welcomed the addition of important technological advances for the #ev market. First of all, we are proudly introduced two new innovative versions of the VX-1 called the VX-1 Li and VX-1 Li+ which are now powered by Lithium energy systems which increase both the range and performance while decreasing recharging times. And secondly, we celebrated the roll-out of our first 50cc-equivalent #scooter, the easy-to-ride, fun-to-use VX-2. And finally, we announced the January 2012 debut of the revolutionary three-wheeled VX-3 Li+. In May 2011, both our VECTRIX™ VX-1 Li/Li+ and VECTRIX™ VX-2 were awarded with “European e-Scooters of the Year” at CleanWeek 2020 at the prestigious Circuit Zolder in Belgium. 2011 is indeed a remarkable moment in the history of VECTRIX™.
