A Setra touring coach for FC Bayern Basketball

Leinfelden-Echterdingen/Munich. Autobus Oberbayern GmbH is adding a Setra touring coach to its fleet. The S 517 HD is one of the first vehicles of the next-generation Setra ComfortClass touring coaches and will be used as a new team touring coach by the first division basketball team of FC Bayern Munich.
40 Setra Voyage plus travel seats with individually adjustable comfort headrests will ensure that players can travel in extreme comfort, even on longer trips to sports venues or training camps.
The athletes and their supervisors can also sit together face-to-face at a club table and enjoy snacks and chilled drinks in the integrated kitchenette. A standing height of 2.1 m in the vehicle interior creates a generous feeling of space in the touring coach. Four 21.5-inch LCD Full HD video monitors allow an initial game analysis to be carried out by the coaching staff shortly after the game.
Nico Schoenecker, Managing Director of Autobus Oberbayern GmbH, provider of the three-axle vehicle in the club’s colors: “The S 517 HD is the brand’s first touring coach that we have made available to our long-standing partner FC Bayern Basketball.”
Three-dimensional chrome brand lettering on a glossy black background really stands out in the new family face of Setra touring coaches, which have now undergone a major facelift. The most up-do-date assistance systems are now also on board, such as Active Drive Assist 2, a feature that already allows partially automated driving over all speed ranges.
Autobus Oberbayern, headquartered in Munich, is one of the largest bus/touring coach companies in Germany. With a total of around 920 employees and more than 300 vehicles, the company handles almost the entire spectrum of passenger transport. In addition to scheduled, charter and special journeys, Autobus Oberbayern is also an expert for transport logistics at major events. With the new S 517 HD, the company currently operates 21 Setra branded vehicles.
