You may know us as the company who took you places, the ones who made navigation personal. The start of every adventure signaled by drumbeats. From the very first satnav to in-dash solutions to apps, we've come a long way.
Today we set out towards a new destination. To reimagine what's possible with geolocation data. To map the world in real time.
But how do you make a map that keeps up with a constantly changing world?
With the world. In fact, it takes a collaborative ecosystem: an open platform of super sources where data from drivers, partners, customers, mapping communities and millions of resources is gathered and validated – by a mapmaker who is well-versed in the ways of data.
