The edition of the records | The 36th Biker Fest International reached the pinnacle of success in the year 2022

The #event brought back the wish to share the passion for two and four wheels, in a #lignanosabbiadoro that has been invaded by an huge audience ready to enjoy the #event for four days of sun and happiness.

We can talk about the record edition with the staggering numbers that 2022 has led to the largest rally #event in Italy and one of the largest in Europe. The results achieved are the signal of the year of the "recovery".
Thanks to the sun and the good heat, the #36thbikerfestinternational brought back an #event that highlights the passion for engines and the desire to share, even for a few hours, own time with those people who make the #event the most memorable.

The #event has reached over 100,000 people, according to estimates, in the 5 different areas during the 4 days!

The “Terrazza A Mare” was the stage of a prestigious exhibition of vintage scooters and Vespa named "Mods Meet Rockers", by the Vespa Club Udine, that delighted visitors thanks to a presentation of about forty items from the 50s to the end of the Twentieth century: scooters of every series and model, Vespa, Lambretta and Lui Innocenti but also the authentic rarities brought directly from the personal museum of Vinicio Fabbro, and some scooters built by brands like Bianchi, Ducati, Laverda and Vittoria. All in a setting of beach and sea.

Great success was the Demo Ride area that boasts 3,800 Test Ride for all the Motorcycle Brands present at the #event with Honda that kicked off Thursday and then followed by BMW Motorrad, Triumph Motorcycles, Brixton Motorcycles, Kawasaki, #moto Guzzi, Royal Enfield, Suzuki, Motron, NIU, Garelli, Doohan, Etriko and Horwing.

There was also the opportunity to try the range of cars and motorcycles present for the Green event of e-Mobility Village, allowing visitors to approach the electric with a turnout from Friday to Sunday. In the Stadium Area there was also the official meeting, at the Triumph stand, of the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride with a participation of about 100 motorcyclists.

The Pin-Up Contest has grouped a large crowd under the stage on Saturday afternoon presenting look, interpretation, originality and sympathy expressed by their character in the typical Fifties look.

Important presence were also the 12 teams of Globe Trotters, the protagonists of "Great Motorcycle Travelers" shared the story of their travels with the public presenting their bikes by which they lived these adventures.

The Saturday Light Parade, started at 7 p.m., has created a river of tens of thousands of two-wheeled vehicles, including motorcycles, Vespa and scooters, that have invaded the streets of the center of Lignano.

On Sunday morning the parking of Luna Park was filled with 400 American Cars from Italy and all over Europe, which at 11 a.m. left for one of the oldest and largest American car rallies in Italy, the 27th U.S. Car Reunion, curated by Old School Garage and Cruisin' Mag. The streets of the town have seen the glistening cars, followed by electric cars started directly from “Terrazza A Mare”.  The award ceremony on Sunday announced 30 winners.

The Off Road Area gave a #show with its two trails, one for 4x4 Jeeps (86 vehicles) and the other reserved for the hilarious performances of the Gardens Tractors, Moped and Ape Cross: soil, dust and lots of laughter have surrounded this area dedicated entirely to fun.

The MotoTours presented and organized by the MotoClub Morena have received great requests since Friday morning, with an average of 300 participants to see the beauty of the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia.

The Rock Music has accompanied the participants with 12 live concerts.

36^th CUSTOM BIKE SHOW

The long-awaited award ceremony of the most historic continental Custom Bike Show (the first edition was held in 1987) with a prize pool of over 10,000 euros, was presented during the #36thbikerfestinternational. An #event that is the final of the Championship Custom Bike #show IMC (Italian Motorcycle Championship) and also the only date of the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building made by AMD.

On the main stage of the village was awarded the Best in #show award, by Moreno and Micke Persello, directors of the magazines Bikers Life, Kustom World, Cruisin' and Special Cafe, to Mirko Perugini of Gallery Motorcycles, who won with "La Modesto" an original and well-kept interpretation of the 40’s Harley-Davidson WL racing.

The V-Rod is the best Harley-Davidson Modified of the Custom THOM workshop, while the best Old Style is the H-D Shovelhead of Austrian Ace Motorcycles.

The Harley Road King is the most elaborate Bagger of the Calabrian Devil’s Garage, while in the Freestyle category has excelled the H-D WLA of Free Sound Customs.

And more: Best Metric for the Ducati Scrambler by MC Cyles, Best Scrambler the BMW R850 R by Bottega Bastarda and Best Cafe Racer award at the Laverda 1200 built by MV Cycles.

Finally, voted best Streetfighter of the bike #show was the Ducati Monster of Mr Fighter. Stray’s Garage has been awarded as the best brand new customizer.

The Triumph "Trinity" of the atelier Lari Motori was announced the special on stage podium of the AMD World Championship, the H-D SR1 of RD Custom from Marseille; and the full custom craftsmanship "Greta" made by Meccanicamente.

Very important was the presence of  Fred Kodlin who presented out of competition two of his creations and Peter Penz, probably among the two highest and most historic customizers at European level as well as fans of the #event.
