FRIEDRICH #performance is a business division of Friedrich Motorsport. The German company, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, develops state-of-the-art, high-quality sport exhaust systems and carbon components.

The exhaust systems for these two high-end automobiles feature electronic sound management, which provides the driver with the option to choose between a decidedly subtle and a thrillingly sporty exhaust note. Both FRIEDRICH #performance exhaust systems come with EC type approval.

FRIEDRICH #performance sport exhaust system for the Mercedes-AMG G 63

The #mercedesamgg63 is one of the world’s most popular luxury SUVs. In order to further optimize the #performance of its four-liter, eight-cylinder twin-turbo engine and generate an even more thrilling exhaust note, FRIEDRICH #performance has developed an elaborately tuned high-performance exhaust system. It is built completely by hand at the production facility of the #automotive tuner and sells for 5,498 euros.

The system comprises a rear muffler on each side of the vehicle. The mufflers are installed under the standard running boards of the G 63. Slanted, oval dual tailpipes measuring 90 x 115 millimeters exiting in front of the rear wheels give the off-roader full-blooded side pipe looks.

However, the FRIEDRICH #performance exhaust system for the top-of-the-range model impresses not only with optimized #performance and thrilling looks. Thanks to integrated actively controlled butterfly valves, it also offers a variable engine sound to suit the personal preference of the vehicle’s driver. FRIEDRICH #performance has developed a flow-optimized exhaust system for the four-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine rated at 537 kW / 730 hp. It comes in two configuration levels.

The German specialists designed an all-stainless sport exhaust system for the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series. It comprises pipe diameters increased to 76 millimeters and a smaller, lighter rear muffler that is combined with the four production tailpipe embellishers of the GT Black Series.

The actively controlled butterfly valves integrated into the system can be opened and closed from the cockpit. In “Track” position, the sound changes from a rather subtle yet characteristic eight-cylinder exhaust note to an extremely sporty sound that also makes a very good impression on the race track.
