  • This Wednesday 29 September, CASA #seat welcomed its 100,000th visitor since opening in June 2020
  • Since then, the venue has organized close to 300 cultural and mobility events

This Wednesday at 11:30 am CASA #seat celebrated its visitor number 100,000. The lucky one has been Oriol Prat, a sports enthusiast from Barcelona, who was on his way to the hub’s restaurant to have a coffee with his work colleagues.

The entire CASA #seat team expressed its gratitude, both to the public and to the participants who took part in the programming, with a special welcome for its visitor number 100,000.

CASA #seat has established itself as a benchmark venue for the #people of Barcelona and visitors to the city. “100,000 thanks to our visitors for the favourable response and for making CASA #seat a meeting point in Barcelona. This space is already part of the city’s cultural and mobility agenda” said CASA #seat director #gabrielepalma.

100,000 #people have come through the doors of CASA #seat, which has hosted a total of 295 events and 8 exhibitions in its programme. In keeping with the current context, the safety of visitors has been guaranteed at all times with the adoption of all necessary health measures. In addition, solidarity events have been organised, such as “Yo me corono”, whose aim was to raise funds for research on COVID-19.

For just over a year, the mobility hub has featured conferences and dialogues with the participation of internationally renowned personalities such as John Moavenzadeh (Director of Urban Mobility at MIT) and Mohamed Mezghani (Secretary General of the UITP). The cultural offer also took centre stage with the urban art exhibition “Home Street Home” by Tvboy, concerts by national artists such as Antonio Orozco and Bad Gyal and talks with personalities such as Isabel Coixet.

In addition, the Ametller Origen gastronomic space has delighted the public with showcookings, special events such as the Sant Jordi rose by master chef Christian Escribà and the current Oktoberfest celebration.
