Miles Nürnberger joins Dacia & Lada as design director

Miles Nürnberger will join the #dacia & LADA Business unit as Design Director starting September 1st, 2021. He will join its Management Committee under the guidance of Denis Le Vot, CEO of #dacia and LADA brands. He will report to Laurens van den Acker, EVP, #corporate Design and member of the Board of Management of Renault Group.

We are excited to have Miles join the team, because Design is a central pillar of our #dacia & LADA strategy.  With the All-New Sandero, we have shown that we can still be attractive while focusing on the essentials. RDV #NBI1, #BIGSTER, #NIVA.

His experience and passion for building strong brands through design will be a great asset for #dacia and help us project #dacia into the future, remarked Laurens van den Acker.

Miles Nürnberger joined ASTON MARTIN LAGONDA in 2008 where he was responsible for exterior design as Design Manager, then Creative Director, before being appointed Design Director of the brand in 2018. He was in charge, among others, of designing the DBX – the brand’s first SUV – and the Valkyrie project, as well as the Lagonda EV brand relaunch including Vision sedan and SUV concepts. 

Prior to joining Aston Martin Lagonda, #milesnurnberger was part of Citroën's Exterior Design team. His first steps in the world of #automotive design were with LINCOLN, Ford Motor company.

Born in 1976, into a family passionate about art, design and cars, Miles graduated in #automotive Design from Coventry University in 1998. In 2009, he was granted the Design Award Concorso d’eleganza Villa d’Este for the One-77 concept car.
