EnduroGP 2021: buona la prima con Ruprecht, Pavoni e Macoritto ai vertici delle classifiche
Lo scorso fine settimana, sabato 19 e domenica 20 Giugno, a #marcodecanaveses in #portogallo si è corso il primo round del #endurogp 2021 ed il Motoclub do Marco ha organizzato una gara tanto impegnativa quanto spettacolare.
Quattro le prove speciali in programma da compiere per tre volte per ogni giorno di gara. Un Cross test ed #enduro test tecnici e veloci, un' Estrema impegnativa e ricca di ostacoli naturali e un Super test, che oltre al venerdì sera, si è percorso in entrambi i giorni di gara.
Tutti i nostri piloti sono arrivati in #portogallo motivati per fare bene dopo il grande lavoro di inizio anno ed i buoni risultati ottenuti nel Campionato Italiano.
Purtroppo un esordio di stagione difficile per Matteo Cavallo che è arrivato in #portogallo con l'obbiettivo di correre nonostante i postumi del recente infortunio alla caviglia destra. Sfortunatamente i buoni propositi del pilota piemontese hanno dovuto fare i conti con la realtà di una gara troppo impegnativa per il suo stato di forma e con il dolore troppo intenso che lo hanno obbligato al ritiro dopo poche speciali. Siamo tutti dispiaciuti perchè la velocità dimostrata nelle prime gare della stagione lo avremmo visto sicuramente lottare per il #podio nelle E1.
Questa prima gara di #endurogp ha segnato anche il debutto di Wil nella EGP e nella classe E2. Anche per lui, visto i risultati di inizio stagione, le aspettative erano alte e Will non ha deluso. In Day1 ha dimostrato grande velocità in tre delle quattro prove, ma un errore pesante nel extreme test lo ha relegato al quarto posto in EGP e terzo in E2. In Day2 è partito subito bene inserendosi nella lotta per la vittoria finale. Con un ultimo giro senza errori e grande velocità è riuscito a vincere la sua prima giornata di #endurogp al debutto!!!
Will: " E' stato un week end incredibile. La mia prima vittoria in EGP sarà impossibile da dimenticare!! Ringrazio il Team e TM per la fiducia, oggi è stata una grande giornata per noi!!"
Nella classe Junior Lorenzo Macoritto e Matteo Pavoni si sono divisi le vittorie nelle due giornate di gara nella classe EJ Overall. Entrambi hanno dimostrato grande velocità e le carte per lottare per il Campionato. Pavoni con un secondo e primo posto si conferma leader della EJ2 e della EJ Overall. Macoritto con una vittoria ed un secondo è a pari punteggio con il suo rivale nella EJ1 e terzo nella EJ Overall.
Jarno: " Poche parole e tanti fatti! I miei ragazzi sono stati grandi tutti, prima di tutto nel modo di affrontare la gara e i risultati ne sono una conseguenza. Questa sarà, insieme a tutto il mio Team e la TM, un'altra giornata da ricordare!!! Ora pronti per la prossima battaglia al GP d'Italia, vi aspettiamo numerosi!!"
Il prossimo appuntamento del mondiale di #enduro targato 2021 è previsto per il prossimo fine settimana a Edolo (Bs) per il GP d'Italia.
EnduroGP 2021: good first results with Ruprecht, Pavoni and Macoritto at the top!
Last weekend, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th June, the first round of the #endurogp 2021 took place in #marcodecanaveses in Portugal and the Motoclub do Marco organized a race demanding and spectacular.
There are four special stages scheduled to be completed three times for each race day. A technical and fast Cross test and #enduro test, a challenging Extreme full of natural obstacles and a Super test, which in addition to Friday evening, was covered on both days of competition.
All our riders arrived in Portugal motivated to do well after the great work of the beginning of the year and the good results obtained in the Italian Championship.
Unfortunately a difficult season debut for Matteo Cavallo who arrived in Portugal with the aim of running despite the after-effects of the recent right ankle injury. Unfortunately the good intentions of the Piedmontese rider had to deal with the reality of a race that was too demanding for his form and with the too intense pain that forced him to retire after a few special stages. We are all sorry because the speed shown in the first races of the season would have surely seen him fighting for the podium in E1.
This first #endurogp race also marked Wil's debut in the EGP and E2 class. Even for him, given the results at the beginning of the season, expectations were high and Will did not disappoint. In Day1 he showed great speed in three of the four tests, but a heavy mistake in the extreme test relegated him to fourth place in EGP and third in E2. In Day2 he got off to a good start and entered the fight for the final victory. With a last lap without errors and great speed he managed to win his first day of #endurogp at his debut !!!
Will: "It was an incredible weekend. My first victory in EGP will be impossible to forget !! Thanks to the Team and TM for their trust, today was a great day for us !!"
In the Junior class #lorenzomacoritto and #matteopavoni shared the victories in the two days of competition in the EJ Overall class. Both have shown great speed and the ability to fight for the Championship. Pavoni with a second and first place confirms himself as leader of EJ2 and EJ Overall. Macoritto with a win and a second is tied with his rival in EJ1 and third in the EJ Overall.
Jarno: "Not many words and a lot of facts! My guys have all been great, first of all in the way they face the race and the results are a consequence of it. This will be, together with all my Team and TM, another day to remember !!! Now ready for the next battle at the Italian GP, we are waiting for you !! "
The next round of the 2021 #enduro World Championship is scheduled for next weekend in Edolo (Bs) for the Italian GP.
