Lars Krause: strategist with extensive product expertise

Lars Krause, previously Head of Strategy, Cooperation and Product Management at #volkswagen Commercial Vehicles will be the new Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing at VWCV. In this role he will succeed Heinz-Jürgen Löw, who has left the company at his own request. #carstenintra says: "Lars Krause has extensive strategic experience at VWCV, making him the ideal candidate for this position and enabling fast progress to be made in this area. Now he and his team will successfully get them onto the roads.”

Carsten Intra continues: “We would like to thank Heinz-Jürgen Löw for his work and the three intensive years as Board Member at VWCV, in which sales and marketing were also marked by the comprehensive transformation of the company. Needless to say, we accepted his wish to leave the company and we wish him all the very best for the future.”

Michael Obrowski: experienced controller to assume responsibility for the Finance division
In his last position, #michaelobrowski spent around five years as Head of Group Controlling at #volkswagen AG. In his new function he succeeds Holger Kintscher, who has been a Member of the Brand Board of Management of #volkswagen Commercial Vehicles since 1 June 2019. After 34 years in the #volkswagen Group, he resigns from the company as part of a retirement agreement. Obrowski, too, is already looking back on a 26-year #corporate career. #carstenintra says: “Michael Obrowski is a very experienced Finance-Manager who we are delighted to welcome to the Board. In addition to his vast experience, he has an impressive international track record and has worked in Mexico, Italy, Russia and the UK. We at VWCV are sure to benefit from this.”

“We would like to sincerely thank Holger Kintscher”, Intra continues. “During his long career at the Group and at various brands such as ŠKODA and SEAT, #volkswagen Commercial Vehicles was always a constant factor – with the start of his career in Hannover, as Head of Finance at our plant in Poznań, as Head of Product Controlling or finally as a Board Member at VWCV. In the current coronavirus situation he and his team made an outstanding contribution to safely navigating our brand.”

Lars Krause started his career at McKinsey. From 2005 to 2009 he held various management positions at #volkswagen, most recently as Project Manager for the “Full-size” product line.
