Panasonic Jaguar Racing Gen2 EVO concept livery

- On 4th February, Formula E revealed the newly named #gen2evo that will make its debut in the 2020/21 season
- Today, #panasonicjaguarracing reveal the concept livery
- Featuring a livery based on the current season six design – fans get their first glimpse of the #panasonicjaguarracing #gen2evo car
- The #gen2evo sees a range of structural design changes including a new front wing, dorsal fin and distinctive curved rear wing

Formula E is constantly evolving and the introduction of the #gen2evo shows the collective ambition to keep pushing the boundaries of electric street #racing. The introduction of this upgrade coincides with World Championship status for Formula E which will take the sport to the next level. The #gen2evo looks striking but the real work goes on under the bodywork. #panasonicjaguarracing is already working on our powertrain for next season.
JAMES BARCLAYPANASONIC JAGUAR #racing TEAM DIRECTORThe new #gen2evo will offer approximately 10 – 15% more downforce and up to 10% less drag, so we will be seeing racecars which are faster in a straight line and around corners. From a driver’s perspective with the wheel arch body work removed, it will allow them to see apexes more clearly and the tyres rotating – these small changes should assist drivers during races too.
