The riders had to race 275 km of special today! Serious things have begun in the dunes of Merzouga!

Michael Metge - 1st place: After his promising start yesterday, Michael demonstrated all his value on this 2nd stage! He started off hard and fast and quickly took the lead. The bike worked very well.

Lorenzo Santolino - 2nd place: He is very focused and applied his concentration on the road book today, he is also very physically fit. He understands the work that was done on his bike since the last Dakar and he is very confident on his bike.

Adrien Metge - 3rd place: He is showing the team that we can count on him. He has excellent strength and stamina; he is fast and always in the lead group.

Johnny Aubert - 7th place: He is in the process of learning the bike. This is a very encouraging result. He experienced a special stage with a new navigation issue at the start, because of the organization. He then witnessed the fall of Botturi and that of his teammate Abdul Wahid (fracture of the clavicle). When he was able to restart, he quickly got back on pace, attacked and finished in an honorable place.

A wonderful 2nd stage! We must not let go and stay the course. Tomorrow there will be a lot of navigation during the 290 km planned by the organization!
