The #yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced today that it is supplying its ADVAN #racing tyres to four cars run by three teams at the finals of the 47th Nürburgring 24-Hour #endurance Race (ADAC TOTAL 24h-Rennen) during 22nd – 23rd June 2019. The tyres being supplied are the “ADVAN A005” for dry conditions and the “ADVAN A006” for use on a wet track.

YOKOHAMA is supporting two teams at Nürburgring - KONDO #racing, which #yokohama also supports in SUPER GT GT500 class races, and #racing PROJECT BANDOH with NOVEL. The latter is collaboration between #racing PROJECT BANDOH, which #yokohama supports in SUPER GT GT500 races, and NOVEL #racing. In addition to supplying tyres to one car being run by each of those teams, #yokohama is once again sponsoring Walkenhorst Motorsports, which is entering two cars in the 24-hour #endurance race. All four machines will compete in the SP9 class for cars conforming to the FIA-GT3 rules adopted for the SUPER GT’s GT300 class and will aim to capture the overall championship.

The Nürburgring 24-Hour #endurance Race is run over the Nürburgring race track, widely considered the world’s most demanding course, with a length of about 25km, some 200 corners, and an elevation differential of 300m. #yokohama has supported teams running in this race for many years, and three times machines running on #yokohama tyres have captured the overall title, with Schnitzer Motorsport’s BMW M3 winning in 1989 and 1991 and Porsche 911 Carrera in 1993.
