RACE UPDATE – 10 Hours:

After ten hours of intense #racing at the 42nd Le Mans 24 Hours Endurance World Championship second round in France, the Suzuki Endurance #racing Team is in a strong position and have taken the lead after a total of 371 laps of the Circuit Bugatti.

So far, the 15-times EWC Champions SERT riders, #vincentphilippe, Etienne Masson and Gregg Black have taken the lead, with Philippe jumping ahead from the team’s fifth-position on the grid, but in the following hours had always circulated in the leading positions on the new GSX-R1000, always in the mix after 11 pit stops so far, plus rider changes.

So far, after 10 hours, Masson has just handed over to Gregg Black and leads with SERT just ahead of Kawasaki (on the same lap) with Honda a lap behind.

Other Suzuki teams in the mix include Motors Events, currently leading the Superstock class and in eighth position overall. Junior Team LMS is currently 23rd.
