Volkswagen donates 2019 Arteon to charity during Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

Volkswagen of America, Inc. (VWoA) is pleased to announce that the company donated an all-new 2019 #Volkswagen #Arteon SEL Premium R-Line® in the #pebblebeachconcoursdelegance Charity Drawing during Monterey Car Week. The annual charity #Event allows select Monterey Bay local charities to sell tickets and keep 100% of the proceeds.
The #Arteon charity drawing benefits the Natividad Foundation, which provides financial and program resources to enhance health care services at the 172-bed Natividad hospital in Salinas, California. Natividad has served the diverse community of Monterey County for more than 132 years, offering inpatient, outpatient, emergency, diagnostic and specialty health care.
“We are thrilled that the #Arteon has helped raise money for high-quality health care and trauma services through this charity drawing,” said Hinrich J. Woebcken, President and CEO, #Volkswagen North American Region. “Volkswagen is proud to have worked with the #pebblebeachconcoursdelegance and the Natividad Foundation, in their commitment to raising the bar for local health care.”
Based off the award-winning MQB platform, the #Arteon is Volkswagen’s newest #Volkswagen flagship, offering a sleek fastback design, an upscale interior, and innovative technology. #Arteon is powered by a 268 hp 2.0-liter TSI® engine, paired with a standard eight-speed automatic transmission and optional 4Motion® all-wheel drive. Standard features include: 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, full LED headlights, Front Assist, Side Assist, Rear Traffic Alert, and DCC® chassis control. Available features include: #Volkswagen Digital Cockpit, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, massaging driver’s seat, and Dynaudio® premium audio.
The #pebblebeachconcoursdelegance Charity Drawing took place on August 26th, from 3:45 to 4:15pm PST. Comedian and former late-night host Jay Leno will conduct the drawing on the awards ramp at The Lodge at Pebble BeachTM.
