Comunicato Stampa disponibile solo in lingua originale.

  • It is the second season for the German series, where forty-five drivers will compete.
  • One of these is #mickschumacher, winner of the first two races of the Italian championship.
  • Eight events are set for 2016, the first in Oschersleben from Friday, 15 April to Sunday, 17 April.

Next weekend on the Oschersleben racetrack is the start of the second season of the German F4 ADAC #abarth Championship, where forty-five drivers will compete, driving Tatuus single-seaters built by the Scorpion brand. After the big success in 2015, this year the German federation also christened the Italian single-seater powered by the #abarth T-Jet 160 HP engine, the same engine used in the #abarth 595 series.

Among the entries is young #mickschumacher who, after making his début with undisputed success in 2015, started this year's season taking a double victory in the opening race of the #italianf4championship powered by #abarth, held at the Misano World Circuit last weekend. Schumacher was also the winner of the free practice session that took place in early April, where he clocked the fastest time ever right on the Oschersleben racetrack.

The German 2016 F4 ADAC #abarth Championship is organized into 8 events of 3 races each: Oschersleben (15-17 April), Sachsenring (29 April-1 May), Lausitzring (3-5 June), Oschersleben (17-19 June), Red Bull Ring (22-24 July), Nurburgring (5-7 August), Zandvoort (19-21 August), Hockenheim (30 September-2 October).

Last season, the Abarth-built Tatuus proved to be very efficient for young go-kart drivers aged 15-18, allowing them to show off in a robust car with low management costs. Just like the philosophy of Carlo #abarth.
