Scuderia Ferrari provides the excitement at the Bologna Motor Show

Scuderia Ferrari has always enjoyed a close relationship with its fans which is why, a week on from the thrilling Finali Mondiali event in Abu Dhabi, the team was again pleasing the passionate Italian fans of the Prancing Horse with an appearance at the Bologna Motor Show. Giancarlo Fisichella got behind the wheel of a Ferrari 150° Italia, the car which was used in the 2011 Formula 1 Championship, driving in a spectacular fashion for several laps, around the arena built up in part of the exhibition centre in Bologna.

The Maranello team’s mechanics also showed off their skills, with several pit stop demonstrations. After the demonstration run, Giancarlo went to the Ferrari Museum stand, where he met the winners of the “Museo Ferrari Formula 2014” championship, taking on the fans on the simulator.

Fisichella was also on duty as a special guest to present the prizes for the Soap Box Championship fought out between all the Italian Scuderia Ferrari Clubs. “It’s always special to get to meet our fans close up and feel the affection and enthusiasm they bring to every event,” commented Giancarlo at the end of the day, before saying goodbye to all the fans.
