International GT Open: An all-Ferrari podium at Monza in the GTS category

Monza proved a happy hunting ground for Ferrari, in the penultimagte round of the GT Open series. In race 2, Ferrari runners managed a clean sweep of the podium.

Winning the junior GTS division was the SMP Racing Ferrari 458 Italia of Viacheslav Maleev and José M. Pérez Aicart, They crossed the line ahead of the AF Corse number 79 car of Nikita Zlobin and Luca Persiani and the similar Ombra Racing car driven by Stefano Costantini e Lorenzo Bontempelli. In the Super GT category, the overall win in the second race of the weekend went to the Chevrolet Corvette, driven by Miguel Ramos and Nicky Pastorelli.

On Saturday, the win in the first leg went to the SMP Racing crew of Daniel Zampieri and Roman Mavlanov, after a great climb up the order.
