Suzuki - V-Strom1000 concept to Reality
More than a decade ago Suzuki created the V-Strom 650 – a
motorcycle offering incredible versatility, comfort and enjoyment for adventure riders everywhere.
This well-balanced package included an incredibly versatile VTwin engine in a lightweight and agile chassis and quickly became the benchmark for everyday adventurers the world over.
For the 2012 edition of Motorcycle Live, Suzuki is pleased to introduce a new larger capacity version – the all-new V-Strom 1000 Concept.
Inspired by the legendary DR Big Dakar racer, the V-Strom
1000 Concept will be Suzuki's most advanced adventure style machine ever.
Featuring Traction Control, the new model will be powered by a new version of the firms proven 1000cc liquid cooled V-Twin engine, providing ideal power for long distance rides, while its aluminium chassis provides agile handling.
The V-Strom 1000 Concept is planned to become reality in
2014.
