Led by refreshed Atlas, Volkswagen continues to democratize technology with its MY24 lineup

Herndon, VA — #volkswagen of America, Inc. announced its changes for the 2024 model year today. Each model in the current lineup has now been redesigned or refreshed since model year 2022, resulting in the freshest #volkswagen lineup in years.
Layering on more value for 2024, every #volkswagen model with automatic transmission now offers standard IQ.DRIVE® driver assistance technology, making it one of the most widely available hands-on semi-automated driving systems on the market today. The full feature set outside of Emergency Assist is also standard on all models with manual transmission.
Volkswagen Car-Net® Safe & Secure is available at no additional cost for 5 years for model year 2024 vehicles. Upon activation, the 5-year plan includes Emergency Assistance, Information Assistance, Automatic Crash Notification, Anti-Theft Alert (requires the myVW app, excluding ID.4), and Stolen Vehicle Location Assistance (excluding ID.4). To activate the plan, owners accept the Car-Net® Terms of Service during myVW sign up and then enroll in Safe & Secure located in the Shop section of the myVW app.
Select MY24 vehicles are expected to begin arriving in dealer showrooms shortly.
ARTEON
For the 2024 model year, the Arteon is available in two trims, both with standard 4Motion® all-wheel drive—SEL R-Line and SEL Premium R-Line. The Arteon lineup only adds minor cosmetic changes for model year 2024.
MSRP for the 2024 Arteon starts at $47,875 and destination is $1,350.
ATLAS & ATLAS CROSS SPORT
The Atlas will offer six trim levels for the 2024 model year—SE, SE w/ Technology, Peak Edition SE w/ Technology, SEL, Peak Edition SEL, and SEL Premium R-Line. Atlas Cross Sport will offer five trim levels for the 2024 model year—SE, SE w/ Technology, SEL, SEL R-Line, and SEL Premium R-Line. The refreshed Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport feature an elegant new interior and a refined turbocharged engine that improves both performance and driving experience.
For 2024, the Atlas family will be powered solely by a four-cylinder turbocharged and direct-injection TSI® engine with 269 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The new engine provides similar power to the outgoing VR6®, along with a bump in torque—which is available over a broader rev range, improving drivability and acceleration. An eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive are standard; Volkswagen’s 4Motion all-wheel-drive system is available across the model lineup.
While the refreshed Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport maintain largely the same underpinnings of the successful outgoing models, the spacious interior of each vehicle receives a major upgrade for the 2024 model year. Premium materials are adopted throughout, including a leatherette-trimmed soft-touch dash and center console. Front-row door trim and décor flow seamlessly into the dash panel, creating an upscale cockpit; the door treatment is also mirrored in the second row. Available ambient lighting with 30 color choices pairs with innovative backlit dash décor featuring the model name to elevate the new design. Top-of-range models feature quilted leather seats with a diamond stitching pattern.
Comfort features get a boost as well. A heated steering wheel with shift paddles, ventilated front seats and a height-adjustable passenger seat are now standard fare, along with Climatronic® automatic climate control and Voice Control. The center console is redesigned with a storage cubby underneath. Leather seating surfaces and heated second-row rear seats are now available a trim line lower than previous models.
The seven-seater Atlas lineup is bolstered by the addition of the Atlas Peak EditionTM trimline for 2024. Peak Edition models feature unique interior and exterior details, including body cladding elements, unique wheels, all-terrain tires, blacked-out exterior details, signature interior design, and are only available with 4Motion all-wheel drive.

GOLF GTI
For the 2024 model year, the #golfgti is available in three main trims—S, SE, and Autobahn. Minor changes include power-folding exterior mirrors for all models and a new wheel design for SE models. A special equipment set called “GTI 380” will also be available—more details will come at a later date.

GOLF R
The #golfr is available in one well-equipped trim for the 2024 model year. Minor changes include power-folding exterior mirrors and, as a midcycle update, a new 19-inch wheel design.

JETTA & JETTA GLI
The Jetta is available in four trims for model year 2024—S, Sport, SE, and SEL. The 2024 GLI is offered in two trims—40th Anniversary Edition and Autobahn. The Jetta and GLI now offer standard IQ.DRIVE driver assistance technology on all models with automatic transmission (the full feature set outside of Emergency Assist is also standard on all models with manual transmission). In addition, S trims add an eco-leather trimmed steering wheel, gearshift knob in leather, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and rain-sensing wiper function. Sport trims add heated front seats and a space-saving spare wheel. GLI Autobahn models add a heated steering wheel for model year 2024.

MSRP for the 2024 Jetta starts at $21,435 and GLI starts at $28,085; destination is $1,150 for all Jetta family models.
TAOS
For the 2024 model year, the #taos is available in three trims—S, SE, and SEL. All #taos models now offer standard IQ.DRIVE driver assistance technology; in addition, all three trims offer augmented interior stitching. S trims add Light Assist, rain-sensing wiper function, and a heated leatherette trimmed steering wheel. SE models upgrade to dual-zone Climatronic automatic climate control and an SE Black package (later availability) will offer a black roof, wheels and additional blackout exterior design elements.
MSRP for the 2024 #taos starts at $23,995 and destination is $1,350.
TIGUAN
The #tiguan is available in four trims for 2024—S, SE, SE R-Line Black and SEL R-Line. All #tiguan models now offer standard IQ.DRIVE driver assistance technology. S trims add auto-dimming rearview mirror, rain-sensing wiper function, and a leatherette trimmed steering wheel. A mid-cycle update will also include the MIB3 Composition Media infotainment system with wireless charging and wireless App-Connect.
