Just a few tenths separate Kennedy and the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team from their target in Race 2

The Evan Bros. #worldssp Yamaha Team's weekend at Donington Park ended on a positive note, with #jackkennedy able to take 17th place in Race 2. A result that confirms the progress made session after session by rider and team, despite the short time available to work together.

After finishing the Warm Up in 19th position, improving his Superpole time by almost two seconds, Kennedy took to the track for Race 2. At the start the Irishman was unable to make up positions, but then began his comeback, which quickly took him into the top 20. As the race went on, the Irish rider caught up with the group fighting for the points zone, setting some excellent times, and passing under the chequered flag in 17th place, thus improving on yesterday's result.

So ends a complicated weekend for the Evan Bros. #worldssp Yamaha Team, ready to look ahead with optimism. The team from Ravenna, which again wishes a speedy recovery to its rider Andrea Mantovani, will be back on track from 14 to 16 July, at the historic Imola circuit.

Jack Kennedy - P17

"Today's race was better than yesterday's, in many respects. Unfortunately the start was difficult, so I had to fight to make up positions: to come within a step of a deserved points zone is a bit frustrating, but we ended the weekend on an upswing and that satisfies me. I thank the Evan Bros. #worldssp Yamaha Team for the opportunity: coming back to Supersport has been fun".

Fabio Evangelista (Team Principal)

"It was a good race, it was just a shame about the position in the grid and the start: recover positions in Supersport today is not easy. Jack showed that he is a professional rider, with a top ten race pace and a great attitude. It was a pity not to score points, but we will try to get a better result at Imola".
