The premier class of motorsport was #racing the 6.174 km Jeddah Corniche Circuit for only the third time in the history of the series. George Russell and Lewis Hamilton started from third and seventh respectively on the grid. At the end of the 50-lap race, George crossed the finish line under the floodlights of Jeddah in fourth place, followed by Lewis in fifth. George was temporarily promoted to the podium when Fernando Alonso was handed a 10-second time penalty.
