A faulty tyre deprives the CM Racing Team and Bernardi of their first points in San Juan

Unlucky race Saturday for the #cmracingteam, which was forced to retire in Race 1 due to a faulty tyre. A real shame for the Roman team and #lucabernardi, author of a day of growth.

After finishing Superpole in 19th position, improving his best time compared to yesterday by almost two seconds, Bernardi took to the track for Race 1. After a good start, the San Marino rider immediately gained a place in the points zone, which he maintained until four laps from the end, when a rear tyre failure forced Luca to retire.

With Saturday over, everything is now ready for Day 3 in #sanjuan. Tomorrow in fact will be staged the warm up (15.25 CET) and Race 2, which will start as today's race at 18.30 CET.

Luca Bernardi: "Compared to yesterday we have undoubtedly made progress, which I'm happy about. In the race I was able to make up positions, fighting for points, but the problem with the rear tyre thwarted everything. It's a shame, but we'll try again tomorrow”.

Manuel Cappelletti (Team Director): "Luck did not smile on us, these are things that unfortunately can happen. However, we are happy with the work we did together with Luca, so we can be confident ahead of tomorrow”.
