Eighth place for CM Racing Team and Krummenacher in the last race of the season at Mandalika

CM #racing Team's 2021 season ended with an eighth place in Race 2 in #mandalika. The last race of the year saw the Roman team and #randykrummenacher give their best, despite the pitfalls caused by the drops of rain that fell in the early stages of the race, repeating the result obtained in Race 1.

Day 3 on Indonesian soil opened with the warm up, held on a dry track and with Krummenacher in the lead. The Swiss rider in fact got the third place at just over three tenths from the top, with the best of the eight laps completed. A few hours later Race 2 got underway, with Randy making a difficult start and forced to make a comeback.

Having rejoined the top ten in the second half of the race, Krummenacher improved his race pace and climbed the classification to finish eighth under the chequered flag. A result that did not match Randy's potential, whose best lap was only three tenths slower than his fastest race lap.

With today's race CM #racing Team's 2021 season ends as said, enriched by many important results. Thanks to the joint contribution of Luca Bernardi and #randykrummenacher a victory and a total of six podiums have been achieved: results that have earned the sixth position in the team standings and the second among the teams with just one rider.

All this in their debut season in the WorldSSP championship, which makes these achievements all the more precious. The #cmracingteam would like to thank all the partners who made this season such a success and is already ready to work on 2022.

Randy Krummenacher: "Today I gave everything, but unfortunately it wasn't enough to obtain a significant result. I had some difficulties at the start and this compromised my race, although I was able to improve my pace and make up positions towards the end. I ended a complicated season, which has however brought with it some satisfaction. I want to thank the #cmracingteam for all the work they have done, and in general for the great support".

Manuel Cappelletti (Team Director): "As expected we are not fully satisfied with today's results either, because after solving yesterday's problems we thought we could aim for the top positions. Unfortunately Randy was not able to make the best possible start, which certainly did not help him to reach his true potential. With today's race our successful history with Yamaha comes to an end and we are ready to start working with enthusiasm to build our 2022".
