Sales, Production, and Export Results for the First Half (April-September) of FY2022

During the first half (April to September) of FY2021, results were down due to the effects of COVID-19, and as a result, global sales and production were both up in the first half of FY2022.

In September 2021, a parts supply shortage caused by the spread of COVID-19 in Southeast Asia resulted in year-on-year declines in global sales and production.

The situation remains unclear with respect to both COVID-19 trends and parts supplies, but we will continue to make every effort to minimize the impact.

Toyota City, Japan, October 29, 2021―Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) announces its sales, production, and export results for September 2021, as well as the cumulative total from January to September 2021 and the first half of fiscal year (from April to September 2021), including those for subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. and Hino Motors, Ltd.
