At the Biker Fest engines, fun and thousands of attendees. The legend does not contradict itself
Here we are. With the day of Saturday 18th, the 35th edition of the #bikerfest has confirmed the interest of the international audience flocked to the flagship #event of the city of Lignano Sabbiadoro.
In the central area of Luna Park ended the registrations for the Bike Show, the most popular and wide exhibition of Special motorcycles in Europe, with the experience of the most skilled customizers and children of the tradition of Daytona and Sturgis (USA). Many national and international trends have come to life right here and it is no coincidence that the #bikerfest Custom Bike Show is the most historic in Europe, born in 1987, a shining star in the world of customizers. An absolute exclusive is the Final of the IMC (Italian Motorcycle Championship) and the only date of the AMD World Championship in Italy, with the exhibition of the most beautiful bikes in Europe. Guests and jury came from all over the world to establish the podiums of each category.
In the parking lot have resounded the roaring V8 engines of American Cars since the early morning, a magic bridge between Lignano and the dream of the great America, coordinated to the start of the mototours organized by Motoclub Morena, that since Thursday escorts hundreds of motorcyclists on the wonderful routes of FVG to enhance the beauty waiting for the parade of motorcyclists deliberately titled "Saturday Night Fever", scenic night out in the streets of the city. The success was total and the parade, now usual, delighted those who populated the streets of the beautiful Lignano Sabbiadoro. Thousands of chromed motorcycles of every size, shape and brand have crossed in triumph the entire city, echoing a show that embodies the spirit on the road of the #event.
From 3 p.m. the breath gets shorter and the already hot air of Lignano becomes hot with the entrance on stage of Pin Up girls, beautiful girls extracted from the dreamlike image of America of the movies. In competition 8 girls from various regions of Italy and Europe that have performed with their workhorse, for a jury composed by personalities of the sector. Presenting the #event was Filippo Damiano, known to his friends as Pelù, a photographer from Cremona, together with Sara Zoccolan in art Sweet Poison. Miss East Cost Sweet Pin Up, now in its sixth edition was the milanese Cristina Oddo stage name Twincle Red.
As yesterday, also this evening there were the travel reports of the Motoviaggiatori, witnesses of planetary explorations and surreal experiences riding their trusty motorcycles.
At the Teghil Stadium, extension of the #bikerfest, queue of fans for the Demo Rides, flocked to the #bikerfest to test the latest products of the largest manufacturers, that now think about the application of electric technology to vehicles. Ample space is dedicated to the sector of electric mobility, with a special section called 2nd E-Mobility Village, born from the collaboration between the Consortium Lignano Holiday and Terre di #moto srl, which develops within the parking area of the Teghil Stadium and that boasts to date, to be the largest area dedicated to tests of green vehicles not only in Italy but in Europe. A glimpse to the future and one at the past, an expression of the constant effort of research to support the progress of the world of motors.
In the Off Road Area, today the off-road vehicles of the almost 100 drivers present at the #event also set "foot". Team Manocchi, composed of Michele, his children, European champions, Kevin (13 years old) and Giada (16 years old), who have been active in these initiatives for years, involved the disabled children by making them become "Navigators for a day". In total safety they moved on the dirt road prepared ad hoc, testing the capabilities of the powerful off-road vehicles.
To confirm the extravagance of the #bikerfest actors, an army of racing tractors, scooters, mopeds and bee- crosses unhinged the shock absorbers and put on a show on the prepared track, with the morning trials and then the afternoon sports exhibition.
Elifriulia's helicopter, available for the visitors, flew over the area giving adrenaline to the public that at the end of the day was full of things seen, exotic food from all over the world and the thousands of offers proposed by the perfect organization of the #bikerfest. Animal House played live, followed by In Rock in acoustic, and put the icing on the cake. At 11pm the soft seduction of Lady BB's burlesque show enlivened the spirit of the Bikers and the many visitors.
All in compliance with Covid regulations and with the Green Pass control at the entrance, which certainly didn't stop the party but confirmed that even bikers from every country, behind their long beards, tattoos and unconventional appearance, defend rules and principles of coexistence.
