"In Superpole I didn't find the right moment to make the most of the qualifying solution and closed just fifteenth, but I knew I had the pace to do well. I started strong and was catching up when I crashed. I can't remember the dynamics of the crash, but I know I felt real pain in my left wrist. I'm heading straight back to France now to undergo surgery to fix the fracture. I hope to be back on the bike as soon as possible".
