Double victory for Alfa Romeo Giulia at the "SPORT AUTO AWARD"

The readers of the magazine #sportauto voted for the Italian sports sedan in two categories. Top model Alfa Romeo #giulia Quadrifoglio is number 1 in the import classification of the category "Standard cars Limousines/station wagons up to 100,000 Euro" for the third time in a row. Alfa Romeo #giulia Veloce wins the import class of the "series production limousines/ station wagons up to 75,000 Euro"

Alfa Romeo #giulia is at the top of the list of the readers from the magazine #sportauto. In the survey for the "SPORT #auto AWARD 2019" they chose the Italian sports sedan as the winner in two categories. As in 2017 and 2018, the top model Alfa Romeo #giulia Quadrifoglio, powered by a V6 turbo petrol engine with 375 kW (510 hp), won the import rating in the category "standard production limousines/station wagons up to 100,000 Euro". In the "series cars limousines/station wagons up to 75,000 Euro" the readers of #sportauto voted the 206 kW (280 hp) strong Alfa Romeo #giulia 2.0 Turbo Veloce as the number one import model.

"The 'SPORT #auto AWARD' is regarded as a barometer of the mood in the sports car industry. All the more reason for me to be delighted that the Alfa Romeo #giulia has been able to celebrate a total of five class victories in this competition over the past three years," said Cristina Mauri, Brand Marketing Manager Alfa Romeo and Jeep, at the award ceremony in Stuttgart. "The readers of #sportauto have once again shown their preference for Italian design and performance. With the recent model renewal of the Alfa Romeo #giulia, we will continue to inspire them with our sporty vehicles in the future".

The "SPORT #auto AWARD" was held for the 27th time. Over 12,300 readers selected their favorites from 275 vehicle models in 18 series categories - each with an additional import rating - as well as ten tuning classes.
