Rovetta(Italy), 24 June 2019 - The Italian GP took place in Rovetta, in the legendary area of the Bergamo Valleys. The fifth round of the
FIM Enduro World Championship was organised by the famous Motoclub Bergamo and there were four special trials, each fought out over three laps. The riders competed on mixed terrains: mud, streams, stones, rocks, and woodland, the classic mix for the Bergamo area.
In the
EnduroGP,
Danny McCanney (TM Racing Factory Team) and
Alex Salvini (S2 Motosport Honda RedMoto Sembenini Team) performed excellently, respectively winning Day 1 and Day 2. The reigning champion
Steve Holcombe (Team Beta Factory Enduro), not at his best due to a number of physical problems, gritted his teeth and regained a number of points from the leader. The official Beta and
METZELER rider won an extraordinary second and fourth place.
It was an incredible weekend for the host riders
Thomas Oldrati (Team Honda RedMoto), who -competing with
METZELER MCE 6 DAYS EXTREME tyres, - picked up a second place on Day 1 and an excellent first place on Day 2 in the
E1 Class. Three victories on Day 1 for the official
METZELER riders. Loic Larrieu (TM Racing Factory Team) won the
E2 Class,

Alex Salvini (S2 Motorsport Honda RedMoto Sembenini Team), who won and has been dominant since the first special, while the second place went to the TM rider
Loic Larrieu. Once again the
METZELER supported riders
Steve Holcombe and
