MV Agusta Reparto Corse – De Rosa reached the second row after Buriram Superpole

The second round of the Supersport world championship continues for the two MV Agusta Reparto Corse riders, #raffaelederosa and #federicofuligni. Yesterday, the two Italians took part in free practice, De Rosa closing in sixth place with a time of 1'38"460, while Fuligni finished sixteenth with a 1'39"798.

This morning, in hot and humid conditions, the third and final practice took place, the riders having the chance to perfect the set-up of their MV Agusta F3 675 bikes and prepare for the Superpole.

De Rosa was unable to improve on his best time of yesterday, closing practice in eighth place. The same went for Fuligni, who with yesterday's time rounded out practice in eighteenth position.

In Superpole, De Rosa significantly improved on his best time, a 1'37"225 allowing him to close in sixth place. Fuligni has unfortunately not yet resolved the issues that slowed him in practice, and a time of 1'39"531 saw him conclude Superpole in twentieth position.

De Rosa will start from the second row of the grid for tomorrow's 17-lap race, Fuligni from the seventh.
