At Maison&Objet Maxdesign presents Max, the new seat sustainable and multifaceted designed by Christoph Jenni complete the stand the update of the Appia Work collection


At the first meeting of the year in France at Maison&Objet, the Italian brand Maxdesign, specialized in contract and office furniture, presents the new collection of seat Max designed by the Swiss designer Christoph Jenni. After the success of the preview at the Salone of Milano, it enters the production this original collection that consist of chairs and armchairs that heads towards a combination of an extensive collection of products and a formal archetypal language. The main characteristic is the versatility of the single elements: after had made the shell of the chair and armchair the other structures are designed to adapt, to create different combinations. A sort of mix&match attitude driven by the search of comfort, versatility and sustainability that always mark the Maxdesign’s products.

The two recycled materials, recycled organic polypropylene and eco-friendly recycled wood, of which #max is made, become the new main characters of the collection, used for bases as well as shells. The result is a monolith object made from the same reclaimed material, a well-proportioned chair where the structure is hidden in the form itself. As far as the upholstery, opt for lightness and practicality.

Strong point for the company and for the whole production of #maxdesign is the sustainable attention, which become with this collection a really essential cornerstone. #max is made totally from reclaimed materials, the company – as far as the productive process –ensure that every single step enhances the quality and the potential of these raw materials.

Maxdesign will present also the update of Appia Work, a collection for the essential office, long-lasting, comfortable and ergonomic, it is meant to serve as an indoor and outdoor furnitures. A constant research on materials and knowledge of technologies emphasize functionality and its aesthetic significance. A full recyclable die cast aluminum frame provides lightness and defines a robust as well as minimal #design.
