Superenduro: when motorcycling becomes a show...

The indoor world championships got underway in Poland. #sidi riders immediately grabbed the limelight.

Maser (Treviso), 10 December, 2018 - #superenduro is not just motorcycling; above all else it is a spectacular show inspiring thrills and adrenaline. On Saturday, December 8th, the #superenduro Indoor World Championships kicked off with the first round in Krakow, Poland. A total of five tests are scheduled between 2018 and 2019. The Polish race will be followed by the German GP on January 5th, the Spanish GP on January 26th, the Hungarian GP on February 9th and the Euskadi GP on March 9th.

More than 13 thousand spectators flocked to the impressive Tauron Arena in Krakow to watch this fantastic show. In the centre of everything were the riders, ready to fight like modern day gladiators on the saddles of their steel steeds. The riders took on the three heats that made up the race surrounded by light displays, music and special effects worthy of a Hollywood production. #superenduro is anything but boring… spectacular jumps, obstacle courses and breath-taking passes capture the attention of the crowd, which has to stay focussed on what’s happening in the race from the first lap to the last.

For the record, it was home town idol Taddy Blazusiak (KTM) who dominated the race. There are also several riders from the #sidi team who stand out as major players in this specialty. A last-minute injury prevented current World #enduro Super Series Champion Billy Bolt from competing in this first round of the FIM #superenduro World Series. In any case, in Poland #sidi was able to count on the solid pair from team Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory #racing, the new AMA Endurocross Champion Colton Haaker and the expert indoor #enduro rider Alfredo Gomez. American Haaker was first in race1, second in race2 and third in race3, which carried him to the third step on the final podium for the Polish GP. Spain’s Gomez was fourth in the final standings; however, he did enjoy putting everyone in their proper place as he dominated race3. The other star from team Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory #racing, Billy Bolt, hopes to make it back into the races at the beginning of 2019.

In the battle at the centre of the arena, the most effective weapon for #sidi riders is called the Crossfire 3 SRS, a boot that will never retreat in battle, not even in the most difficult situations. In the last several seasons this boot has captured titles on all off-road fronts, making it the most victorious boot of all time. The next big date with the Super #enduro Show will be on January 5th at the SachsenArena in Riesa, Germany.
