Presentation of the new Malaguti generation at EICMA

Surprise at EIMCA 2018, the international motorcycle trade fair in Milan. The Austrian KSR Group announces that it has purchased the traditional Italian brand "Malaguti" and presents a product range available from the beginning of of 2019.

The #malaguti company was founded in 1930 by Antonino #malaguti in San Lazzaro di Savena, a suburb of the traditional university town of Bologna, as a bicycle dealership and repair shop. The passionate cyclist began to make his own bicycles soon afterwards. From 1949 onwards, #malaguti built bicycles with auxiliary engines, soon after that also small motorcycles, finally also scooters.

In contrast to other manufacturers, #malaguti refused to participate in the arms race of motorcycle manufacturers with increasingly larger and more expensive models. For #malaguti, sportiness and dynamism were not something for expensive racing sport commitment but a component of all motorcycles, which have attracted the young public above all. Just as the centuries-old City of Bologna traditionally acts as a magnet for young students from all over the world, the traditional motorcycle manufacturer has always felt committed to young motorcyclists and #scooter drivers from all over the world.

The Austrian KSR Group is now re-defining the traditional brand. The programme shown is fully committed to the "Spirit of Bologna" and offers dynamic and reliable motorcycles and scooters for a young, urban audience.
