Change in ŠKODA AUTO Supervisory Board

Mladá Boleslav, 30 May 2018 - Dr. #HerbertDiess, CEO of Volkswagen AG, is also to assume the position of Chairman of the ŠKODA AUTO Supervisory Board against the backdrop of the recently established 'Volume' group of brands within the Volkswagen Group. The Czech carmaker's Controling Body appointed 59-year-old Diess as the new Chairman of the committee at the meeting on 30 May, 2018. In this position, he succeeds #frankwitter, who will continue to serve the Supervisory Board in a new capacity as Deputy Chairman. Matthias Müller, Witter's predecessor in this office, resigned his mandate effective 13 May, 2018. Florina Louise Pantic, née Piëch, left ŠKODA AUTO's Supervisory Board with effect from 5 May, 2018; the successor has yet to be elected.
