Performance and reliability of the #abarth 124 rally are on the rise. Last weekend's results confirm that the results of the car with the Scorpion badge are already excellent. In the Rallye d'Antibes in France, young driver Nicolas Ciamin (FRA) and co-driver Thilbaut De la Haye (FRA), in their Milano #racing team #abarth 124 rally, came close to repeating the R-GT success scored two weeks ago in the Rallye Lyon-Charbonnières.

Ciamin was strong from the go. He took the lead after the second test stage, the longest of the whole rally in Antibes, and held it to nearly the end of the first leg.  A sudden storm dumped at lot of water on the course during the last two special stages. Despite having fitted dry tyres, Ciamin managed to lose no more than just over one minute, slipping from the 8th to the 13th place in the overall ranking. Ciamin scored a prestigious result in this second leg, winning the special test stage on the legendary Col de Turini in the R-GT ranking. The French driver ended the weekend with a well-deserved second place in class.

"Once again we have demonstrated how competitive and reliable the #abarth 124 rally has become. These roads were tough on mechanics and we did not experience any technical issue. We kept a fast pace that took us to lead the R-GTs", Ciamin commented at the end of the weekend. "Unfortunately, our bold choice of tyres prevented us from grasping the result that was within our reach. I am very confident for the rest of the championship".

Podium in the Rally Krumlov, #czechrepublic for the #abarth 124 rally of the Agrotec Czech #abarth team driven by Martin Rada (CZE) and Jaroslav Jugas (CZE), which ended third in a packed R-GT class. This race was also marred by variable weather conditions which made the superfast track even tougher. "I am gaining experience with the car and we improved our performance also on overall level in this race", a satisfied Rada commented at the end of the race. "The #abarth 124 rally is very competitive on fast courses, like that of the Rally Krumlov".
The show continued on the #racing track with the single-seater ADAC F4 Championship powered by #abarth engaged on the Lausitzring speedway in Germany. Undisputed star of the event was New Zealander Liam Lawson who scored two wins in Race1 and in Race3.

By wining Race 2 and coming fourth in the third round, German Lirim Zendeli holds the lead of the overall classification with 25 points over Lawson. Up-and-coming David Schumacher, son of Ralf, is leading the Rookie ranking.
