The #ds Only You customer experience programme won the Creativ’Expérience Grand Prix at the 32nd International Automobile Festival, where #ds is pointing proudly to the future with #dsv02, the all-electric single-seat racer running in the FIA Formula-E championship, and #dsetense, a unique car, the #ds Grand Tourisme vision.
At yesterday’s opening ceremony in the historic setting of Hôtel des Invalides in Paris, Jean-Michel Wilmotte awarded #ds Brand CEO Yves Bonnefont the Creativ’Expérience Grand Prix. An appreciative festival attendance will be able to make (or renew) acquaintance with DSV-02 and #dsetense through till 5 February 2017.
The 32nd International Automobile Festival (the Fashion Week of the motoring world, as it were) opens to the public today in the exceptional historic venue of Les Invalides in central Paris. As at previous events, exhibitors are showing off unique creations, true works of art, in a vibrant celebration of adventuresome creativity in automotive design.
Yves Bonnefont, #ds Brand CEO, had this to say at the festival opening ceremony that took place yesterday at Hôtel National des Invalides in Paris: “The 2017 International Automobile Festival is a great venue for us to illustrate the avant-garde spirit that inspires us at #ds. Only You is not a concept car, so we can’t actually show you it at the International Automobile Festival. Only You is a programme of exclusive services and privileges currently being rolled out worldwide for all #ds vehicle and service customers. It stands as a kingpin of our development strategy, the basis for a distinctive, refined and avant-garde customer experience. What we can show you, with great pride, is #dsv02, our all-electric single-seater running in the FIA Formula-E championship, and our latest creation, #dsetense, which offers a glimpse into the #ds future, with our customary emphasis on advanced technology and refinement.”
Visitors to the International Automobile Festival, which runs till Sunday 5 February, will love #dsv02, the all-electric Formula-E single-seater developed by #ds Performance engineers to run in the third FIA Formula-E Championship season with the #ds Virgin racing team. In promoting clean, responsible energy, Formula-E is shaping the world of motorsport to come. Races are run on downtown tracks in some of the world’s largest cities —Hong Kong, Marrakech, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Monaco, Paris, Berlin, Brussels, Montréal, New York— and pull in a whole new generation of motor sport enthusiasts. Formula E and #ds Automobiles share a couple of key values in the form of avant-garde technology and grassroots public appeal. #dsv02 will be at the starting line of the next Formula-E race, on 18 February in Buenos Aires, and in Paris for the Saturday 20 May meeting at the ePrix track round Les Invalides.
The International Automobile Festival also makes an unmissable chance to get a closer look at #dsetense, on show in the prestigious setting of Hôtel des Invalides in Paris. This showing harks back to the car’s very first public outing, on 23 April 2016 round the very same Hôtel des Invalides ePrix track in Paris. (It’s just that on that previous occasion it didn’t hang around for People to probe its undeniable charms.)

DS E-Tense
The utterly unique #dsetense is nothing less than foresight into the #ds Grand Tourisme vision, a prism for viewing the #ds future, with its characteristic emphasis on advanced technology and refinement.
DS E-Tense foreshadows the #ds to come, blending authentic, time-honoured craftsmanship with the sort of creativity opened up by the most innovative digital systems. #ds stylists fashioned every last tiny detail to carve the epitome of a high-performance GT. With its avant-garde personality, #dsetense harnesses the latest technologies to rise above design clichés. The voluptuous grille and futuristic dashboard were produced by parametric design techniques borrowed from the worlds of haute couture and architecture. It took eight hundred hours of work to complete the cockpit, whose incomparable atmosphere benefits from expert input from leathercraft specialists Moynat, watchmakers BRM Chronographes and acoustics experts Focal.
The deep, intense, crystalline Amétrine #green body magnifies the car’s sculptural presence. And the interior elegance is amplified by a colour scheme featuring blue-tinted green-grey leather and polished #green panels.
Under its exceptionally elegant bodywork, #dsetense has everything it takes join the select high-performance GT clique, with a powerful electric drivetrain developing 402 bhp with torque of 516 Nm and a travel range of more than 300 km.
