Bring together some legendary names in the world of motorcycling and you get a pretty amazing #event. Bring together high performance lubricant specialist #motul, the prestige of Italian motorcycle manufacturer #mvagusta, the iconic name of #giacomoagostini and custom motorcycle specialist Deus Ex Machina and you have alchemy!
MV Agusta has got together with Deus Ex Machina USA whose renowned US Motorcycle Design Director, Michael ‘Woolie’ Woolaway, will customize the current model of the Brutale 800RR which pays tribute to MV’s glorious racing heritage.
Considered one of the greatest motorcycle racers of all time, #giacomoagostini won 15 Grand Prix Championships and 10 Isle of Man TT’s between 1966 and 1973 astride the #mvagusta marque, and it’s only fitting that the special will be known as the Ago TT. The designer intends to shape the Brutale into a modern interpretation of the iconic TT race bikes ridden in the 60s and 70s by Agostini.
Motul’s racing heritage and current involvement in the highest echelons of racing made it a natural partner in the project.Where #mvagusta PROVIDES the bike, Deus Ex Machina CUSTOMIZES it and #motul STRENGTHENS the premium racing value. There is a common thread of DNA which combines these three brands together featuring passion, ingenuity, authenticity and high quality. All three are also specialists in their field.
To support the launch, an ambitious video documentary is being produced to make the release of the bike even more epic. Charting the conception, development and production of the bike, it will be directed by talented commercial and feature film director, Ryan Travis. The Ago TT bike and video are due to be launched at Round 9 of the 2016 #motul FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK), to be held at Laguna Seca in California between 8-10 July. A teaser video is already available.
Motul, #mvagusta and Deus Ex Machina will all be running a huge communication push on their social media and online channels in all countries where they are present.
Fans of WorldSBK will recall that #motul recently signed a global partnership agreement with #mvagusta which covers four key areas of involvement: Industrial (MotulTech Industrial lubricants used in the factory: Casted and Drilled); First Fill (products including engine oil, brake fluids and coolants in all new Agusta models; Service Fill (recommendation of #motul products by the Agusta distribution network); Racing (a full factory technical partnership with the #mvagusta Reparto Corse team.
