The #tokyomotorshow, which opens to the press today, is the ideal venue for the Japanese début of #c4cactus, a model emblematic of the CITROËN revival. Sales already top 110,000 units worldwide, and hopes run high for forthcoming release in the land of the rising sun. Through till 8 November, more than 900,000 visitors are expected at the 44th #tokyomotorshow, which opens to the press today. This is an important #event for CITROËN, whose New C4 Picasso, released in Japan a year back, is the company's best-seller here. Stealing the show at the CITROËN stand this year is the long-awaited #c4cactus, making its maiden appearance in Japan prior to arrival in the Japanese showrooms in around a year. Judging from strong global sales (topping 110,000 already) and worldwide critical acclaim (as with the World Car Design of the Year award), this standard-bearer of the CITROËN brand revival can expect a resounding reception from Japanese motorists.
