In 2003, he moved to Master Lease as Managing Director responsible for various key territories in Europe for the next seven years. Hyundai Motor’s performance in the Fleet sector is contributing to record overall sales for the brand in Europe. For example, in the first half of 2017 the company outpaced the European fleet market, increasing sector sales by 9 per cent compared to the first half of 2016. The company’s strong sales performance with more than 270,000 vehicles highlighted its successful strategy in Europe. The success has been driven by a young and growing product line-up, including the Tucson and the i30 range, influenced by the requirements of fleet buyers. To ensure future growth in line with the stated ambitions, #hyundai will introduce 30 new models and derivatives in Europe by 2021, maintaining a focus on meeting the needs of European fleet customers.
