Team HRC’s #timgajser and #evgenybobryshev will be taking their CRF450RW to a new track on the #mxgp calendar in #indonesia.
Gajser is ready to fight for the title now that he is over the fever that hampered his progress in Qatar, although it didn’t stop the World Champion standing on the podium, and Bobryshev will be eager to push his world championship standings into the top three on his 777 CRF450RW.
The venue is located away from the mainland in a town called Pangkal Pinang which is the largest town in the Indonesian Island of Bangka. The track will incorporate wave sections, dragons back and a fair few jumps. The length is around 1500m so lap times should be just under two minutes.
The weather this weekend could potentially make conditions difficult as the last few weeks have been particularly bad with heavy rain, but even this will not deter the humidity that the riders will have to face. Although the temperature looks to be around 23-30 degrees Celsius the humidity will reach little lower than 85 per cent.
