New Head of Marketing/Press at ABT Sportsline

Since January 2017, Roland Hörmann (31) has been the new Head of Marketing and Press at ABT Sportsline, Germany, the world's largest tuner for vehicles from the Volkswagen Group. He succeeds Björn Marek, who held the post as Press and Public Relations Manager, and Michael Beck, who led the entire Marketing & Press section.

From April 2017, Björn Marek shall be concentrating on building up the North American market for ABT in his position as Head of Sales, PR & Marketing in Miami, Florida. Michael Beck shall continue to support the Bavarian vehicle tuner in an advisory capacity.

Previously, Roland Hörmann was responsible for digital communication and marketing activities as New Media Manager at the DTM racing series marketer ITR e.V. At this stage, he became successful in reaching new target groups for the internationally successful motorsport series, using various measures in the live streaming, social media and online marketing fields, and significantly increased the coverage.
