Aston Martin #racing Formula One machines have claimed two outright victories with #bilstein suspension technology in the six-hour race at Japan's Fuji Speedway. The number 98 V8 Vantage GTE turned pole position into sweet success. Number 95, driven by Nicki Thiim and Marco Sørensen, defended its lead in the GTE Pro driver and team ranking. The whole team is now well placed for the last two races of the season.

Meanwhile, Thiim and Sørensen are 10 points ahead of their second-place rivals in both rankings. The sister car, number 97, also fitted with #bilstein suspension technology, is third in the table and was driven in Fuji by Darren Turner and Richie Stanaway.

The #astonmartin #racing amateur drivers, Pedro Lamy, Dalla Lana and Mathias Lauda maintained their lead throughout the entire race. Leading by more than a lap, the #astonmartin V8 Vantage crossed the finishing line, taking second place in the table.

The next and penultimate race for the FIA World #endurance Championship 2016 season will be held in Shanghai on 9 November.
