Alongside the Citroën E-Elysée and C6 revealed at the #beijing Motor Show, Citroën is expressing its creativity with an original sculpture entitled ‘I love Citroën’. Displayed on the Citroën stand, this creation comprises 1,284 chevron-shaped parts representing the brand logo. It was printed in 3D, a technique that is an excellent fit with the brand’s ‘Créative Technologie’ signature. Made entirely in France, from #design to production, this sculpture reflects the bold mindset of Citroën.

Citroën has supported art for more than 95 years, and has worked with many artists, including Bernard Buffet, Victor Vasarely, Kojiro Imamura, César, and Bernard Rancillac.

The sculpture ‘I love Citroën’, an arty take on the brand logo, was an initiative by Arnaud Belloni, Citroën Marketing and Communication Director. It was designed by Karine Buisson Caillard, Global Brand Designer at Citroën, and Jean-Baptiste Sénéquier, a designer with a keen interest in 3D printing techniques.

Made up of 1,284 chevron-shaped parts printed in 3D with a chrome finish, this original sculpture was produced using an algorithm. Each part is unique and placed in a specifically position. The brand logo gradually emerges, bringing to mind birth and evolution. This creation is a perfect fit with Citroën’s ‘Créative Technologie’ signature.

Currently on display at the #beijing Motor Show, this creation was presented at the Geneva Motor Show last March. It can also be seen at the C_42, the international showcase of the Citroën brand on the Champs-Élysées in Paris.
