Hankook showcases new all-season tyre at the Commercial Vehicle Show

In 2016 #hankook Tyre UK will once again be participating at Great Britain’s biggest commercial vehicle exhibition, the Commercial Vehicle Show, from 26th to 28th April held at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre in Hall 5, stand 5C60. Alongside a broad portfolio of commercial vehicle tyres including the SmartFlex AH31 and DH31 all-season tyres for trucks, the premium tyre maker will be showcasing the latest edition to the SmartFlex family, the AH35, which has been specifically designed for the European market.
Daventry, UK, 31rd March 2016 – #hankook Tyre UK will be presenting their expanding portfolio of commercial vehicle tyres at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham. Taking place on the 26th-28th April 2016 at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, #hankook will be located in Hall 5, stand number 5C60 where the stand shall feature a launch of the tyre manufacturers new all-season SmartFlex AH35 displayed in size 215/75R17.5, with other sizes also being readily available on the market. Alongside the new addition to the SmartFlex range, the existing AH31 and DH31 products were recently selected as Original Equipment for MAN and Mercedes-Benz #truck vehicles in the three sizes 315/80R22.5, 315/70R22.5 and 295/80R22.
Thanks to its wide tread and three dimensional sipes, which deliver a prolonged tread life and optimum traction, the SmartFlex AH35 offers high rigidity specifically for medium to long haul use alongside ensuring an even wear and substantial fuel savings.
In addition, #hankook will be displaying the SmartWork AM09 for steering axles and the SmartWork DM09 for drive axles that provides an all-round solution for off and on-road driving. The AU03+ bus tyre will be introduced with an enhanced load index of 150/145J following the market trend and customers’ demand of using bus tyres with increased load index. What is more, this tyre offers qualities such as a higher shoulder rigidity and sturdy sidewalls which are particularly important for urban transport.
To meet fleet operators' growing demands for reduced running costs, #hankook will be showing their retreading tyre range, the alphatread line-up on their stand. The medium haul tyre range on display includes the #hankook alphatread R-DH05 in size 315/70R22.5 for drive axles alongside the alphatread R-TH22 in size 385/65R22.5 for trailer tyres.
Hankook’s exhibition stand will also be offering visitors to the stand the opportunity to win 2 VIP tickets to the 2016 UEFA Europa League final in Basel. To win this fantastic prize, visitors must place their business card in to marked boxes on the stand and will be notified upon the exhibition closing. Furthermore, as #hankook is an official partner of the UEFA Europa League, the UEFA 2016 cup will be on display at the tyre maker’s exhibition stand where fans will be able to have their photograph taken.
