Nissan confirms its manufacturing leadership by achieving the five-millionth manufactured vehicle milestone in the Aguascalientes A1 plant

In 2015, #nissan #mexico accomplished a new manufacturing record with a total output of 822,948 units. Today, the company confirms its manufacturing leadership by producing its five millionth vehicle milestone at its Aguascalientes A1 plant.

Aguascalientes A1 plant was established in 1992, and it is a global manufacturing benchmark for the corporation, delivering top quality vehicles at a production rate of 55 seconds each. In 1993, the A1 plant was the first to produce vehicles for the Japanese market.

"This encourages us to continue breaking our own records and achieving record production figures for the Mexican automotive industry."

The five-millionth vehicle assembled in the A1 plant is a 2016 #nissan Sentra that will be exported to Canada.
