Dell'Orto at EICMA 2013

The company based in Cabiate (Italy) and active in the automotive market since 1933, celebrates its 80 year anniversary in occasion of EICMA exhibition in Milan. The fully Italian owned company, still in force and dynamically inclined in being economically stable, displays its product history in its exhibition area, Booth C40 at Hall 14, recalling the major important steps since the foundation: from the birth of the well-known carburettor REX (1933) to the first attendance at the XVI International Cycle and Motorcycle Exhibition of 1935 at Palazzo of Permanente in Milan, from the world records set with MV Agusta, Guzzi and Gilera in the 50s to the production of the first automobile carburettors DHLA and DHLB with double horizontal bodies (1970), from the launch of the throttle bodies for cars and motorcycles to the recent electronic engine management systems with racing applications (since 2012 in the Moto3 World Championship). Dellorto history builds links with Italy’s and the advent of the most significant change and improvements: from the impact of engine powered vehicles on the Italian people lifestyle to the economic boom of the 60s, up to a widely recognized environmental awareness and to the recent idea of market globalization with new technological and sustainable innovative challenges.
