The European campaign of the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team begins in Barcelona

After the season opener, the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team is ready to get back on track for the second round of the 2024 World Supersport Championship. The venue for the round will be the Barcelona circuit, which became part of the SBK calendar for the first time in 2020, making it the sixth Spanish track to host a round of the Superbike championship.
The Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team and Valentin Debise arrive at the Catalan round in the right spirit. In the opening round at Phillip Island, in fact, team and rider immediately demonstrated that they have the right potential to fight for the top positions, as witnessed by the fifth place obtained in Race 2.
The team from Ravenna can also boast sweet memories of the Montmelò track, where the second world title in the team's history came in 2020. As usual the weekend will start on Friday morning with the only free practice session available, while in the afternoon it will already be Superpole time. Saturday and Sunday will see the staging of Race 1 and Race 2, both at 15.15 CET.

Valentin Debise: "Both the team and I gained a lot of information at Phillip Island, which we are looking forward to putting to good use in Barcelona. Montmeló is a track I like, where I achieved good results last year, so I am optimistic and motivated".
Fabio Evangelista (Team Principal): "The whole team really wants to get back into action, especially at a beautiful track like Montmeló. The performance at Phillip Island has motivated us, and this motivation will be our fuel for the upcoming weekend. The objective is to play for the positions that count: we like the track as much as the rider. In Barcelona it will also be interesting to understand the values on the field from a technical point of view, and therefore the differences between the 600 and the Next Generation bikes. I am curious to understand the leveling of the various technical packages".
