Abarth #695assettocorseevoluzione and #abarth #500assettocorse to start in Imola next weekend, April 28 and 29

The tenth season of the #trofeoabarthselenia is about to start again in Imola, on one of the most prestigious and technical race tracks in Italy. Over the next weekend, the fast #abarth #695assettocorseevoluzione and #abarth #500assettocorse cars will challenge one another in two races which are anticipated to be as spectacular as ever.

The #abarth #695assettocorseevoluzione develops a power of 215 HP and with its sequential transmission secures remarkable performance on all circuits. The #abarth #500assettocorse, on the other hand, with its 190 HP, provides affordable access to car #racing to young drivers. Two models and no fewer than five rankings - absolute, #abarth #500assettocorse, Under 18, Gentleman and Ladies.

The #abarth Selenia Trophy season will count seven two-race events. The first race will take place on April 29 in Imola. It will be followed by Le Castellet (France) on May 13, Misano (June 24), #mugello (July 15), Vallelunga (September 16), Monza (October 7) and finally #mugello again on October 28.

In the paddocks, #abarth guarantees spare part service on the race track with presence of technicians for advice and a hospitality area with catering dedicated to crews and team.

Some of the stars of the past editions will be on the starting line, including #cosimobarberini from Tuscany, who won the last two editions of the Trofeo, Juuso Pajuranta from Finland and young promise Andrea Mabellini from Brescia.
In this year's edition of #trofeoabarthselenia there will be special focus on young drivers from 16 to 18 years of age, who will be able to take part in the championship this time in the scope of an agreement with ACISport to help budding sportsmen and women win their #racing licences by offering special test sessions to them.
New in the formula of each event this year is the introduction of a "superpole" qualifier session for the drivers who scored the eight best times in the regular qualifiers.

At #trofeoabarthselenia races, members of "The Scorpionship" - the official #abarth community which counts more than 100,000 members - will be invited to enjoy an adrenaline-packed weekend in the paddock and experience the thrill of being in the pit-lane with the drivers just before the start of the race.
Participants will also be able to test all #abarth models - 124 Spider, 595 Pista, 595 Competizione and 595 Turismo - on the track and on the roads near the race circuit with professional drivers by their side and to discover the secrets of the latest additions to the 2018 range, like the 695 Rivale and the 124GT.

This weekend, free practice sessions will be on Saturday, April 28 at 12:20 with two qualifiers at 7:15 and 7:50 in the evening. Races will be held at 9:55 in the morning and at 5:00 in the evening on Sunday. The first will be broadcast live on Sportitalia, the second recorded and on air at 7:30 p.m.
