Abarth 124 and Abarth 595 win success in Germany; the Scorpion's design and sporty prowess receive Auto Bild awards

Readers of motoring magazine #auto Bild have proclaimed #abarth best brand for Design in the "Very small car" and "Convertible up to 50,000 Euro" categories

Abarth's design has won over #auto Bild readers, who assigned victory to the Scorpion brand in the Design category in the "Very small car" and "Convertible up to 50,000 Euro" classes in the magazine's "Best brands of 2017/2018" competition.
The magazine's readers also showed their appreciation of Abarth's sporty prowess, by placing its sports car models in the top three in the "Sports Car" and "Sports Engines" category.

The brand won outstanding first place in the "Convertible up to 50,000 Euro" category with the irresistible #abarth #124 spider, the exclusive #automotive expression of the Italian flair for life, with two-layer top which can be opened/closed in a few seconds, from the driving seat, with just one hand. What's more, the range has recently been extended with the #abarth #124 GT special series, featuring a new high-tech, lightweight, safe hardtop which is the only one in the market made completely from carbon fibre. There were also prizes for the #abarth 595C and #abarth 695C convertible versions, both with fabric soft-top.

In the "Very small car" category, victory went to the #abarth #595 and #abarth 695 sedans, two models with many #citycar characteristics but super car performance, both on the road and on the circuit, confirming the brand's key values - unbeatable performance, craftsman-like care over and constant technical updating - which have always guided the work ofAbarth designers, engineers and technicians.

Held for the seventh time, the competition involved a total of 70,000 participants - including the printed and online editions - who cast their votes on the basis of their purchasing choices in the cars, accessories, parts and services sectors. The cars under consideration included 38 major brands in 14 model classes, from very small cars by way of convertibles through to SUVs.
