THE #peugeot LION, the new brand ambassador
This LION embodies the brand's pride, the pride born of uncompromising quality. This commitment to quality is part of PEUGEOT's DNA, and has been for 200 years.
This sculpture commemorates the #peugeot emblem's 160-year history, which was first created in 1858. The Lion in profile astride an arrow symbolises the three qualities of the saw blades #peugeot originally produced: flexibility, resistance to dents, and fast cutting. It's a monumental work of art, 12.5 metres long and 4.8 metres high, created by the #peugeot Design Lab designers.
PEUGEOT DESIGN LAB: expertise for the world beyond cars
The Global Brand Design studio's designers' mission is to make PEUGEOT's expertise and knowledge available to non-automotive external clients.
The Sea Drive Concept, developed by #peugeot for BENETEAU, explores the future of steering for the boating world. It blends the intuitive #peugeot i-Cockpit® (small steering wheel, head-up display and touchscreen with toggle switches) with Ship Control® connected technology. This on-board computer, developed by BENETEAU, makes it easier to navigate and live on a boat.
PEUGEOT Design Lab oversees the design of #peugeot bicycles and designs mobility solutions. The e-Kick scooter, developed with MICRO, and the #peugeot eF02 folding bicycle both come with electric assist and will both be on display in Geneva. These mobility options are perfect for covering the last few kilometres of a trip after parking the car.
PEUGEOT Design Lab creates designs for #peugeot brand image products. Luggage, drills, salt and pepper mills, watches, and clothing from the #peugeot Legend range will be on display. An original surfboard, dedicated to the 208 GTi will also be on display. Designers will be in attendance at the stand in Geneva, in the "lab" area, to illustrate and explain the studio's expertise.
